Menus
Nortel's Meridian Mail
provides voice mail messaging and a wide variety of other features
for efficient message management. Voice menus manage the calls
coming into your office, directing callers to the appropriate person
or department. The menu can be simple- such as a prompt for an
extension number, or more sophisticated, allowing callers to check
account balances, place orders, or obtain your company address and
hours. Voice Menus give you the power to customize messages to
provide the highest level of customer service.

management, allowing you to manage your voice, fax, E-mail messages
directly from your computer. Microsoft Windows compatible, it allows

time it was received. With point-and-click simplicity, you can
listen to, compose, send, or forward voice messages, and view, compose,

Nortel Networks introduces Meridian Integrated IP Telephony Gateway
(ITG), an Intelligent Peripheral Equipment (IPE) card that acts as a
gateway to convert real-time voice and fax information into IP packets for
transmission over an IP data network. The ITG emulates an 8-port
analog trunk card, and occupies 2 IPE slots in the Meridian 1 IPE
module. It is compatible with Meridian 1 Options 11C-81C. ITG
is supported on X11 Release 21 or later software and requires Meridian
Administration Tools (MAT) 6.1 or later to perform operation,
administration, and maintenance (OA&M) functions.
